Komnas HAM won the second place in the category of independent institutions, accredited with a "Quite Informative" according to an assessment of 2018 Public Information Openness Award held at the Vice President's Palace on Monday (5/11).
The award was received by the Secretary General of Komnas HAM, Dr. Tasdiyanto.

This award signifies an improvement for Komnas HAM from the accreditation in 2017 which placed Komnas HAM in the "Less Informative" category.
In the assessment category above, the KPK and KPU both achieved the "Towards Informative" accreditations. In the highest rating category, "Informative" was achieved by PPATK, BP Batam and Bawaslu.
The assessment process was carried out by the commissioner of the Central Information Commission and involved experts, namely Dr. Hamdan Zoelva, Prof. Dr. Siti Zuhro, Dr. Fal Harmonis, Bambang Harimurti, Paulus Widiyanto, Desiana Samosir, and Danardono Sirajudin, as the acting Appraisal Team during the Public Agency Presentation on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Openness in 2018.
On that occasion, Prof. Mahfud MD was chosen as the Ambassador of Public Information Openness.
